Frequently Asked Questions
This page gathers the questions readers most often send to the editorial desk about topics covered on Kestrel Journal. It is meant to clarify how we work and what our articles can and cannot offer, rather than to give personal advice.
Who actually writes and reviews the articles on this journal?
Every article carries the name of the writer and, once reviewed, the name of the editor who checked it. We do not publish anonymous or rotating ghostwritten pieces, and each contributor's background is listed on our team page.
How often do you publish new articles, and can I keep track of them?
We publish on a fixed weekly schedule rather than in bursts. Readers who want a summary can join our newsletter, which sends a short recap of what went up that week, with no other correspondence attached to it.
What happens if an article contains a mistake?
Readers can flag anything unclear or inaccurate through our contact form. If a correction is needed, we make it, usually within 30 days of the flag, and add a short visible note at the bottom of the article explaining what changed.
Is this journal sponsored by any supplement or health brand?
No. We do not accept payment for placement, favourable coverage or product mentions of any kind. The site is funded through general advertising and reader support, kept separate from what our editors choose to write about.
Still have questions?
Questions submitted through the contact form are typically answered within three business days by a member of the editorial team.
